Kellyjoy Kanaley
Keyboards
Kellyjoy began learning the piano at the age of four, excelling in classical music throughout her childhood. Her studies involved a high level of perfectionism, but at 15, she took a break from formal piano training. She returned to the piano ten years later, at 25, to explore a more improvisational and playful approach to classical music. For the last three decades, she has been improvising on the segments of classical music that captivated her, exploring trance-like meditative states while playing. Kellyjoy has used her love for improvisation and her classical training to develop a meditation practice both for herself and for those she performs for.
Rory Kenner
Guitar
Rory had always aspired to reinterpret the classical guitar compositions he mastered in college. Involved in various music projects, he has honed his talent for crafting unique compositions. Rory also dreamed of collaborating with like-minded musicians to create both innovative and re-imagined classical works. As a guitarist, he has delved into multiple genres, continually expanding his musical horizons. Now, he is ready to embrace a new project that truly nourishes this profound aspect of his musical talent. This new venture promises to blend his classical training with his creative flair, offering a fresh take on traditional pieces and potentially setting the stage for collaborative magic.
Alik Berg
Bass
Alik, a remarkable guitarist and bassist, has dedicated over three decades to honing his skills on the guitar while discovering his passion for both the upright and electric bass. Throughout the years in Portland, Oregon, he has performed with countless bands across genres such as bluegrass, rock, funk, and country. A standout period in his career was the over ten years spent playing with Rory in the band Weekend Assembly. Together, they delivered numerous unforgettable performances throughout Oregon, captivating audiences with their synergy and musical versatility. Alik's extensive experience and adaptability in various musical styles make him a seasoned and dynamic performer.
